This will be quick post!

I Uber’d for the first time today. Ricardo picked me up. He was originally from San Diego and used to be off shore and on shore engineer for the Navy. I could go on and on, I learned a lot in the ride from the airport to the hotel but I’ll make it short! He was cool though. 

Arrived at the hotel and there was my bike! Had a super quick reassembly of my bike. It was super! Less than an hour! All my pre trip training paid off!! 

Walked around town a bit. 

Took a test ride to a bike shop and had them tighten my pedals with a proper pedal wrench. Shout out to a manager at Adventure Earth, Garrett. He was super helpful, stoked for my adventure and even hooked me up with contact info for someone else that did a similar route a few years back so I could touch base for info. 

Zipped back to my hotel so I could pack up the bike and get to bed early for my big day!
